TYPE1RACING is the dream of a now 13-year old boy. When diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2008 he dreamed of bringing hope to other children. He wanted them all to know they could achieve their dreams and goals no matter the obstacle. His dreams were and are to raise money, through his passion of racing motocross, in order to help other type 1 diabetics. What started as a motocross race for a cure with proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has blossomed into a nonprofit organization, which he dreamed up to help the community that has shown him so much support. TYPE1RACING will reach out to the Type 1 Diabetic community by providing educational information and assistance, athletic opportunities and training for type 1 diabetics, raise awareness of type 1diabetes through sponsoring riders in the motocross community who have been officially educated in Type 1 Diabetes, and make his dream of â??MX for a Cureâ?¦bringing the HOPEâ?? a part of the motocross racing series throughout the country.
